Jamie was born in Brisbane in 1963 as the youngest of five children. He has lived his entire life in his city of birth and is married with two children.

Educated as a Mechanical Engineer, Jamie became a Christian in his mid-twenties, after some wild student years.

At VACC he looks after the audio-visual systems, web administration and some of the "business" administration of the church.

Jamie enjoys motorsports. He was Chaplain of the Christian Autosports Club (Qld) and competed in the Queensland Off-Road series in the '80's and '90's. He has a cupboard of trophies to remind him of these years.

He has a passion for presenting the Old Testament in modern language. From clues given in the Bible, he likes to speculate on the inner thoughts and feelings of the Bible characters.
