Mike Deane
Mike Deane is the youth pastor at VACC and has responsibility for the high school ministry, ONE80 and for the Sunday evening church service. Previously, he has been a Scripture Union Qld. chaplain at Coopers Plains State School.
Mike has been involved in high school youth ministry since 1994 and started preaching around the same time. He is passionate about seeing high school students know and follow Jesus and make Him known in the personal, local and global world.
When he gets the chance, Mike likes to go hiking and camping. He also enjoys reading, playing playstation, throwing Frisbees, flying stunt kites and eating hot and spicy food.
Mike is married to his wonderful wife, friend and partner in ministry, Vicki. They have two gorgeous young children who are heaps of fun and make Mike laugh.
