Activities
ONE80 (Youth Group)
- When?: Fridays, 7:30pm-10:00pm
- Who?: High school students
ONE80
involves fun activities which are alternated with relevant Bible Study
on life issues. This is an opportunity for great friendships to be
formed and for young people to find support and help with “growing
up” issues.
Kids’ Rally
- When?: Fridays, 5:30pm-7:20pm
- Who?: Primary school students
Children can come along and enjoy games, crafts,
singing, developing skills and Bible stories. It’s a fun time
together, and a small cost covers the meals and crafts. Parents are
invited to special events.
All of our Rally leaders and helpers have passed the 'Suitability for Working With Children' police check (blue card).
Playgroup
- When?: Wednesdays, 9:30am-11:30am
- Who?: Newborn - pre-school
Affiliated
with The
Playgroup Association, there
is a minimal charge each week. This is a great way to meet other Mums
and Dads, and a time when young children can learn how to interact
socially with other children.
Kids’ Church
- When?: Three Sundays per month, during the Morning Service
- Who?: Pre-School - Grade 7
“Kids’ Church” is
simply a modern name for Sunday School. This is an opportunity for
children to hear stories from the Bible, told in relevant ways for
today. Children also get to sing and play games with others their age.
Home Groups
We
have a number of home roups, in various locations. Home groups are
an excellent opportunity to enjoy fellowship with others, study the
Bible, and pray together. Our home groups are held on various week
nights.
Community Care
A
relief system is in operation for families and others in emergency
situations. Parcels of basic foods are distributed to help people in
times of crisis. Requests mostly come from Centrelink or
Family Service Centres.
Other Activities
Other
events include young adults' dinners,
family picnics, men's breakfasts, and
discipleship courses for men and ladies. Details
of these events are posted in our weekly
newsletter, "The Link", and on the home page of this website.
